Each eligible citizen upon registering shall subscribe the following: "I, , a citizen of the United States and of the state of Florida wherein I reside, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States and the cConstitution of the State of Florida, and that I am qualified to register as an elector under the cConstitution and laws of the State of Florida."
