ARTICLE I: DECLARATION OF RIGHTS, Section 23. Right of privacy.

SECTION 23.Right of privacy.

Every naturalperson individual has the right to privacy, which is essential to the well-being of a free society and shall not be infringed on without the showing of a compelling state interest.  be let alone and free from governmental intrusion into the person's private life except as otherwise provided herein. All members of the species Homo sapiens shall be considered "individuals" for whatever relates to his or her interests at every stage of development, including the stage of fertilization or conception, regardless of age, health, level of functioning, or condition of dependency. This section shall not be construed to limit the public's right of access to public records and meetings as provided by law.
