ARTICLE X: MISCELLANEOUS, New Section.

Catchline: Audiovisual recording of law enforcement officer conduct
  1. All active-duty law enforcemtne officers shall be equipped with and use audiovisual recording devices when interacting with the public, effective 1 July 2019.
  2. The recordings made pursuant to section (a) shall not be publicly released, except as provided by law. Recordings or portions of a recording made in locations where the public has a reasonable expectation of privacy, including but not limited to all recordings made inside or into private residences, shall only be publicly released in accordance with laws passed by a nine-tenths majority of the Legislature. The admissibility of such recordings in a court of law shall be in compliance with the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and Article I, Section 12 of this Constitution. This section is not subject to Article I, Section 24 of this Constitution.
