ARTICLE III: LEGISLATURE, New Section.

Catchline: Encourage Lower State Government Regulation

 

 

            (a) No regulation change or license requirement change, which shall affect more than state employees, shall be made by any state department or agency unless the change is approved and signed by the Governor, Senate President, and House Speaker within a year of being presented to them.

 

            (b) However, state regulations that have been made by the respective department or agency may be abolished without the legislature’s approval. Though, if two of the following people sign a statement stating that they do not want the regulation abolished the measure shall be left in place: the Governor, Senate President, and House Speaker.

            (c) This section does not grant any department or agency new authority or power that has not already been granted to them by the Constitution or the laws made pursuant thereto.
